Sombrero Peak from McCain Valley 10/12/09
Weather is nice and cool, so we are hiking in McCain Valley.
Crossing one of several fences.
This looks like a nice pile of rocks to climb.
John P. is up there.
Most of us follow up.
Rock clover.
Our next stop is 4133.
Mark is getting up.
Sombrero Peak.
Wayne is jumping over a gap.
The lower camp.
Wit is leading our way down.
Some brush but we are used to it.
On a way up to Sombrero. Just a few feet higher we will get a scare from a noisy rattlesnake.
Look who is here also, Jerry & Ginna. They climbed from the floor up.
It is getting crowded here.
Did we all fit into the picture?
Bigfoot.
John is looking for trail to the spring.
Hmm, nice spring.
Did John loose his gps there or his car keys?
Back at the cars where happy hour is starting.
Thanks to generous stimulus package from Susan and Chris and champagne by Wit.
