Red Top. 3/29/10
The trail looks more used than it used to be. Are we going to see some other hikers?
No ‘hikers” but we see lot of these hand crafted moccasins.
These moccasins are still in great shape, why are they here? Is it some new fad?
Stashing some water for our climb back up.
There it is the Red Top.
John and Mark are going to do their obscure peaks and some terra caches.
Cindy, on a way up.
Oops that was close, al least it gave out warning signal. Sounded like a water sprinkler.
Waiting for the rattlesnake to go home.
One of our shady breaks, it is warm today.
Almost there, this is an easy way up.
John P. is trying to get down from the summit but this is not it.
Hiding in the shade.
Our group sans two.
We are down but where is Emil? He is either far behind or far ahead of us.
One of the peaks that John and Mark went to.
Some flowers but it is more green than flowery.
Almost back at the top.
We can see our cars.
Wit is sharing his cache from Vegas with us. Beer and refreshments supplied by Wit, Wayne, Emil ….
They are back. It is Mark’s birthday today, only 52. Happy Birthday Mark.
