Middle Fork Lytle Creek. 9/17/12
After obtaining sophisticated hiking permit we are ready to go.
There is lot of shooting going on here. Hopefully John’s car will not look like this sign when we’ll get back.
It is not too hot so hiking is easy.
It seems that there is lot of water flowing there.
Getting higher.
This owl was fearlessly watching us for at least 15 min.
Commanche Camp.
Baldy from the saddle.
It is a lunch break and we are all seeking sun since it is cool here.
Our small group.
It is going to be now 3600’ down.
Big stash of pinecones.
Open part of the hike.
This is steep up.
John is preparing his thing.
We are getting into the shaded part.
Back at Commanche Camp.
Supported trail.
Waterfalls are somewhere there.
Slide area.
Looks like these creek banks at Third Crossing are made from cement.
We are back replenishing our fluids and salts.
