Made it thru Split Mtn.
It is too muddy and slick to continue in cars.
So we are walking 2.5 miles to our original trailhead.

Still wet from recent rains.
Beth is looking for new undiscovered dinosaurs.
All we find is gypsum.
Getting into a canyon.

Wayne is testing it. May be doable but not with wet muddy shoes.

Made it out to the road before sunset. On a way back we got into traffic jams created by people looking for snow.
