Box Canyon 3/20/2017
We are at the end of Di Giorgio Rd. This is a classic place to see desert flowers.
Flowers are OK here. Are we too late? Also it is cool and cloudy for now.
Got to our trailhead by 3rd crossing, flowers look better here.
Wit, hugging the rock.
In the canyon.

Weather is perfect: low 70s cloudy with light breeze.

Flowers are everywhere.
We are branching out of the main canyon.

This is the greenest desert I remember.
It is a garden.

Lunch is at our high point 2900. Before we split.
Found IRIS earthquake observation point.
We are turning back at the park boundary.
Lot of bones here.
