Caliente Wilderness 4/3/2017
Another nice crisp morning while going up.
We are on PCT. Sign says ‘water 4 miles’.
Looking north.
There are lot of hikers here (our group).
Bunched together.
PCT winds up.
Blooming Manzanita.
Blue brush.
It is green everywhere that means too much brush everywhere.
Getting ready to leave PCT and hit the bush.
Not bad for now.
Getting up.
Some minor obstacles ahead.
Wayne is waiting for us, but is he on the highest boulder?
This one looks higher.
We want to do that hill across next. Looks brushy even from here.
Our complete big group.
On a way to our next point.
It is too brushy and we cannot find any clear patches so we are turning back.
For some the bush is unforgiving.
There is an easier point we can do instead.
Wayne is already there, he is loving it.
For after hike party we have off road table. There is a snake on ground ready to attack!
Party is over, will see ya in couple months.
