Five Pk. Challenge 9/17/2018
We will be attempting to do five pk. challenge. Early morning here is nice and cool.
John’s group will do only southern 3 peaks since they done Fortunas recently.
Our group will attempt to do all five in one day.
Just to get to the first one is not easy.
It is several rollercoaster hills by the freeway.
Almost up on Fortuna.
Wit made it.
It is getting warmer.
Looking ahead.

And now going all the way down.
We will be climbing that up.
In the shade. Temperature is 80++.
Jim is leaving us.
We are climbing up.
Almost cresting.
Somebody was here.
Wit who hitched a ride on road is waiting here for us.
Wayne will split after this one.
Going all the way down again.
After going thru some fenced mobile home park we got into heavy brush.
Wit is winded. This may be the trail we are looking for.
Quasi trail.
Steve is happy that we got up finally.
The end is in sight.
