Oakzanita loop 10/1/2018
Nice cool morning. There is a warning about remains of Rosa hurricane with rains and thunderstorms.
So far it is nice and sunny here.
Made it to Oakzanita peak.
Group picture, while we are all here.
Going off trail down.
Pleasant area here.
Burned tree that is still standing.
Easy walking.
We are on a road. What road?
Baby baby.
Almost up on our next peak. Some bush here.
Cuyamaca volcano?
5243 aka Jim Sugg Peak.
Down into:
Brush everywhere.
The old cabin is still standing.
Build with many rocks that were used by native indians before.
It is time to continue.
Got off our track into lot of heavy bush.
Finally back on road.
Reunited with whoever is left.
Perfect weather and no rain.
