Mataguay Connector Trail 11/1/2021
Rob will lead us to the scout camp via Mataquay Connector Trail that he build some time ago.
It is a big group.
Following the leader. This trail will get some use today.
I hope that Rob has a permit.
Looking to Ranchita.
Trying to decipher trail plaque.
More obstacles.
Monday Maniac John.
On a way to our High Point 4391.
Oops, this group beat us to it! Larry’s photo.
This is our lunch place.
Our group after the lunch, ready to continue.
That tree is called Lunch Oak.
Open space.
Could not fine Rob’s trail so we are off trail. Leader Rob with his sweep Rich are somewhere back.
Which way?
It is a bushwhack.
Is this our last fence?
We are down.
Nice road from here.
At the Scout Camp.
Here we are.
Looks nice but needs some upgrades.
Not marble, it is a mushroom.
Trail continues.
That is a big reservation.
Dining Hall where we are ending.
Are we all here?
It is John’s big presentation he is giving out new hiking shirts.
Picture with colorful John’s Hiking Society shirts!
