Arryo Tapiado Caves and Canyons 1/2/2023
Our first hike will be about 3 mile long to some spot elevation so we don’t need our backpacks yet.
It is January and there are flowers!
Flowers everywhere.
We are all excited.
This is incredible!
We are walking in the desert garden.
Group shot on our high point.
Dead chollas surrounded by beautiful flowers.
Can’t get enough of it. So photogenic.
Change of scenery on our second hike. We moved into mud canyons.
Not much flowers here but no less interesting.
Where is Chuck?
Going nowhere.
Canyon walls.
It is a bizarre world here.
Sometime we go over things.
Than under.
Another bridge.
Big switchback
Out of the canyon on plateau.
Since Wit and Carol are not sure where we are going next they are returning back.
Rest of us are continuing and following some trail ducks.
Lunch place.
The canyon is getting narrow.
It is fun.
I love it!
Entering the cave.
Total darkness need flashlight.
It is a long cave.
From high ceilings into low passages.
Made it out.
Back at Arryo Tapiado.
All together. Nice hike!
