Oakzanita and Sugg Peaks 6/3/2024
Almost ready to hike.
There are mountain lions behind this fence.
All on the road for now.
We are going to split into three groups here.
Our group is going up to Oakzanita first.
Made it up.
Looking to Sugg peak. That far one on left.
Top marker.
Somehow we lost Richard. He is not coming up where is he?
Nice, there are lot of them here.
Close-up.
On our way down.
Sides of the trail are blooming.
We are in open. That will change soon.
This used to be a road. Now it is overgrown and hard to follow.
Brush everywhere.
Wit will stop here to wait for us while he is being eaten by biting flies.
Steve and I are pushing up.
Comparing best ways thru bushwhack with Chuck who is coming down from Sugg.
There is Richard waiting for us on top.
East Mesa from top.
Our group on Sugg.
On a way down at the junction with the old road.
Short break before more bushwhack.
Finely made it to the road.
Joining the party in progress.
From nine of us there are four born in 43.
Our complete group.
